The British MuseumIndisputably one of the best, and largest, museums in the world. Well-stocked during centuries of colonization, the British Museum holds treasures from all over the planet, such as the Rosetta Stone and the largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts outside of Cairo. In fact, many countries, like Greece, consider large parts of the museum's collection to be part of their national heritage and have been trying for years to get them back. In the meantime, however, they're all gathered here for your convenience. The museum is open every day from 10am to 5:30pm, except Thursdays and Fridays when it closes at 8:30pm. Getting thereTake the Underground to Holborn, Tottenham Court Road, or Russell Square station. Contact informationWeb site: www.britishmuseum.org Visitor commentsNo postings yet.
